Don’t bother coming here unless you personally know the bouncers because you will be left waiting outside all night. We were left standing for an hour after being told “we have to wait” when everyone else around us walked in. Eventually we were the last people outside and when we asked what the delay was we were ignored. Apparently the bouncer didn’t know English until he was asking us to keep moving away to smoke. -100/10. Not to mention the sexism. If you don’t have yourself mostly exposed then you’ve no chance at all. Don’t waste your time coming here. I recommend Ted around the corner, where we were immediately served no hassle.

To call Kyoto nightclub an experience is true but a good one , it was any thing but. When we arrived we got in what we thought was queue but in a few minutes turned into what closely resembled a cattle market with people waving over others so that their mates would see, hoping that they could push through and get in. I was at an immediate disadvantage at having a chance to pass their threshold as it states when booking a table that if you’re male or if there’s a male in the group you are less likely to get a table. This became very evident when groups of girls dressed to the bare minimum were called in from around us, even though I had come with 2 female friends of mine. We waited for an hour only to be told we would have to wait longer. I looked around and we appeared to be the only ones left waiting I asked the bouncer why we were waiting so long but he just blatantly ignored me until I lit a cigarette outside the barricades he kept telling me to go further and further away. We gave up in the end and visited TED around the corner, which was were we should’ve went first when met with a lovely friendly staff who welcomed us in.
Kyoto is a kip , don’t go and that’s the word of Stockholm locals who were waiting in line with us.

It was quiet perfect. We we’re on the guestlist (booked on the website and received the confirmation) and the securityman didn’t let us in. Great!
Then they told us, that we were not on the regulary guestlist cause we booked online. So we’re on the “second” guestlist (haha never heard something like that). He said we should come back at 1am for the entrance of the “second” guests. Cool, let’s do it!
So we came back at 1:30am and they had a water leck.
